Closest thing you'll get though is the Infinity Blade mod for Blade & Sorcery. Shit I wouldn't even care if it was EGS exclusive. I would pay full fucking price for a VR remake of the trilogy. Huge shame we'll never see these games updated, or even converted over to VR. Later it gets more fucking wild with a content update that added new story beats, where you find out from one of your ancestors that joined the BBEG that the tyrant has been using your bloodline to power up a blade capable of neutralizing the immortality of the Deathless and permanently killing them, and what would seem to be a cloning chamber with copies of the tyrant who is still very much alive elsewhere and coming for your ass.Īfter that the story continues to get more fucking wild, with the books revealing a bunch of other crazy shit about the overall lore and setting, and the two sequels doing a really good job at tying everything up. The kicker comes in when you finally beat the game, to find that you're actually in a post-apocalyptic Earth, and that the tyrant's power has been holding back a multitude of others who will now seek you out for the infinity blade. Everything takes place in a high fantasy sort of setting where you fight monsters, mechanical golems, and other armored warriors. Infinity Blade is a forgotten, but really fun mobile game where you play as multiple generations of warriors trying to overthrow a Deathless (aptly titled as such) tyrannical leader by fighting in a series of duels, culminating in a multi-stage final battle where you either die and pave the way for your progeny to step up to the challenge, join the tyrant as his right hand, or finally defeat him.
